A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Caucasus Youth Nexus and Kutaisi University
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kutaisi University and the non-governmental organization Caucasus Youth Nexus (CaYNex).
The memorandum was signed by Gocha Tutberidze, Rector of Kutaisi University, and Giorgi Azariashvili, President of the Caucasus Youth Nexus.
The Memorandum of Understanding provides new opportunities for students’ career and personal development, greater involvement in non-formal education processes, and the implementation of joint projects.
The partnership between Kutaisi University and a non-governmental organization will support the social activation of students and stakeholders through international projects, webinars and workshops planned by CaYNex, the main topics of which are: social entrepreneurship, human rights, environmental protection and more.
Erasmus+ in Czech Republic, 22 April-1 May
Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, from April 22 to May 1, a training course and startup hackathon “Startup camp: Find your Ikigai” was held in Blansko, Czech Republic. Over 30 participants from Georgia, Czech Republic, Armenia, Latvia, Croatia, Italy and Belarus participated.
During the training, participants were given the opportunity to learn more about self-development, presentation skill, project management, marketing and finance. They explored the business model canva, with the help of which they created and developed their own entrepreneurial ideas. The project organized a 24-hour hackathon, at the end of which the authors of the best startup ideas were awarded.
The participants of the project also visited the JIC International Office in Brno, where they got acquainted with new innovative startups and all the opportunities that this institution offers.
One of the most important parts of the project was the concept “Find your IKIGAI”. Through a variety of group and individual work, participants were able to better understand themselves, their aspirations and future goals. Then, based on these goals, work on your own startup ideas.

Erasmus+ Project in Bakuriani, 1-9 April

Erasmus+ projects are ongoing smoothly and successfully.
Within the framework of the program, 1-9 April 2022, the training course “Social Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion and Sustainability” was implemented in Bakuriani, Georgia.
Up to 30 young people from the European and Eastern Partnership countries participated in the project. Those countries included: Georgia, Armenia, Germany, Moldova, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Ukraine. Considering the current situation, Ukrainian youth attended training online, via the Zoom platform.![]()
The project aimed to enhance the knowledge of the young people about social entrepreneurship, promote the core idea of social entrepreneurship and tackling the social issues, and develop the essential skills respectively. Using non-formal learning methods, participants learned how to set up a business model, as well as prepared and presented their own social enterprise ideas at the end of the day. One of the key objectives of the training course was to introduce the participants to the soft skills necessary for successful entrepreneurship, such as creativity, leadership, time management, personal development, effective goal setting, and more.
the project also aimed to promote the cultural exchange between youth and foster diversity and tolerance as core values. In this regard, cultural evenings have been particularly noteworthy, during which the representatives of each country (including online participants from Ukraine) had the opportunity to represent their traditions, culture, music, or cuisine of their country to other participants.
At the end of the training course, the participants visited Vardzia and Rabat and further got acquainted with Georgian culture.
The project was funded with the support of the EU Erasmus + program.
Erasmus+ Project in Bakuriani, 21-29 March
📢Erasmus + projects continue!
🔵Currently, within the framework of the training course “Action for integration and unity”, we are hosting young people from March 21-29 in Bakuriani. About 30 young people from France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Greece, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia gathered to work around topics of migration, human rights, peace, and multiculturalism.
Using non-formal learning methods, the project aimed to raise awareness among participants about the problems surrounding migration, tolerance, and discrimination. As part of the project, young people were also given the opportunity to prepare presentations and share their experiences, knowledge, and opportunities with other participants.
🔵The project includes training sessions, workshops, presentations, small theatrical performances, etc.
🔵It is also important to note that despite the conflict situation that is going on against Ukraine, our young friends from Ukraine and Moldova managed to get digitally involved in the project.
🔵One of the most important components of the training course was the exchange of cultures between young people and the creation of a tolerant environment.
☑️The project is implemented in cooperation with the Caucasus Youth Nexus, Masterpeace Georgia, and the French organization Comité de Liaison Diagonal France.
Erasmus+ Project in Spain
Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, on 10-16 March was implemented a youth exchange project “Critical Power” in Vilanova De Arousa, Spain. 20 young people participated from different countries: Georgia, Romania, Belarus, Poland, Malta and Greece.
It is especially noteworthy that the training was led by a Ukrainian trainer, who shared with the participants important tools for deterring propaganda and identifying false / true information.
One of the most important components of the project was the presentations of organizations and exchange of cultures between young people. Notable are the cultural evenings, where representatives of each country had an opportunity to share history, traditions, culture, music and cuisine of their own country to the other participants.
Our organization would like to thank the organizers for their work and we continue partnership & giving young people important opportunities.
Meeting at Municipality of Marneuli
A meeting was held in Municipality of Marneuli, which was attended by: Deputy Mayor Temur Shubitidze, sports, culture and youth work specialists;
The meeting was also attended by local NGOs: Shavmiani Community Education Center, Red Cross, Marneuli Center for Democratic Involvement, Tsitel Sophlis Youth Center, and Olga Endeladze, Representative of the Marneuli Democratic Women’s Society.
At the meeting we talked about the challenges of Marneuli youth, which are: unemployment, lack of youth activism, environmental problems, language barrier and more. We discussed solutions and planned joint activities in the future to solve them.
After the meeting with the Deputy Mayor, our team visited the Marneuli Democracy Center, where we got acquainted with the current projects, talked about the existing challenges and planned future cooperation with the center as well.
